The Arabs say أهل مكة أدرى بشعابها and please, take it from me, a person who lived in the UAE for 3 years (and believe me I love the UAE), C.U. is completely right about the amount. You cannot do anything!!! 3000 Qatari Ryals is a little over 800 US dollars (about 500  euros) and you can't do anything with that. Even if they give you a room, what will you do? If Qatar is anything like the UAE, I would demand a salary of at least 9000 AED plus a housing allowance and school fees for my children. And if not then they can send me their translations at 10 US cents per word. This only confirms that they are not serious. All of you and I have studied years to be able to do what we do. We are morally obliged to demand our financial rights. Finally listen to what C.U. says and I quoete:

"...believe me, a secure, safe and dignity respecting position in Morocco with MAD 5000 is far more better than a QR 2000 or 3000. Check this out with the 2001 graduates who have worked for the Qatar Information Agency."

 
This reminds me of the Indian and Philipino workers who do just manual labor and believe me I have nothing against manual labor. It is halal and honorable. However, I do believe that a person who sacrifices him or herself studying many hours should reap the benefits of his or her work. This goes for a doctor, an English teacher, an architect or a translator. Do not go to Qatar!!!

well, you have to be careful about that job offer. On the one hand it is a fixed term position though it was not stated in the initial announcement, and on the other hand, believe me, a secure, safe and dignity respecting position in Morocco with MAD 5000 is far more better than a QR 2000 or 3000. Check this out with the 2001 graduates who have worked for the Qatar Information Agency.

Pour tous ceux qui sont interesses de travailler pour Gulf Supplies & Commercial Services a Qatar. sachez bien que vouz allez bosser avec la base americaine a Doha comme des traducteurs. et si jamais vous decider de venir, j'aimerai bien que vous negocierez vos salaires et que vous insisterez que ca serai pas moins de 10000 Rials Qatari, CAD 20000 DH, car la vie ici est devenu excessivement chere. et vous n'allez pas vous en sortez avec un salaire moins que celui-ci.
cela, en prenant en consideration que cette societe (de sous-traitance) ne va pas vous proposer ce montant, donc essayez le maximum d'etre des bons negociateurs.
