The International Federation of Journalists is looking for a full time assistant to join its projects team. The assistant would be working predominantly on organising events and activities in North Africa and the Middle East.

The candidate must have good knowledge of classical Arabic for writing and translating into and from English. Good French is also an asset.

The candidate should have strong administrative skills and be able to demonstrate the capacity to provide logistical support for events.

The IFJ is a Federation of national journalists' trade unions and works to defend press freedom and promote the rights of journalists around the world.

The job is based in Brussels.
